Robin Berkelmans, Janine Brouwer, and Tom Goldhand are the organizers of the annual Contact Improvisation Festival and gathering in the Netherlands. Through their events, they aim to make this wonderful dance form accessible to dancers wanting to take a deeper dive into it, while also providing a platform for contact improvisation teachers organizing classes throughout the Netherlands.
Their vision is to let the magic and fun of contact improvisation shine, investing in learning and creative spaces, including dance intensives, workshops, and jams, that are rooted in and inspired by the heritage of the form. They take care that their events are present throughout the country and are suitable for building community, learning, making new friends, personal growth, creative exploration, and inspired dancing.
