Kees Lemmens (based between Delft, Utrecht, and Amsterdam) teaches weekly Contact Improvisation classes in Amsterdam, alongside workshops, jams, and outdoor sessions in Amsterdam, Den Haag, and Utrecht. Drawing on backgrounds in architecture, philosophy, and martial arts, his teaching blends technique, kinesthetics, and composition with deep attention to seeing and being seen. A longtime CI practitioner who studied with its founders, he now expands into broader dance experiments he calls “Dance Anima.”
